berlin, germany

i was in berlin for about three weeks.  i went there to visit friends and to make sure that i don't loose  my residence status.  it was strange to be there after being away for a whole year.  it was wonderful to see all my friends.  there are so many sweet people in berlin who i love very much and i saw almost all of them.  i was running around the city visiting with people the whole time. i was very busy!!

i enjoyed my days in berlin but i was also glad to leave.  i have moved on.  being there was like going back in time.  things have not changed there.  the feeling is the same as when i left.  every thing looks the same.  most people are doing the same things they did when i left.  on one hand it is nice that things stay the same but on the other hand, because i have changed so much with my new life in america, i felt out of place.  i do love the city and the wonderful people there but being there made it very clear to me that i made the right choice to move back to my homeland and have new experiences.  i will be back in berlin again some day for another visit but at the moment my view is wider, lighter and bigger and berlin can not offer me anything new and new is what i need.
