san francisco to seattle

after burning man i was in the bay area for about a week or so spending time with the twins and with rose and tanyn and mom.  i hung out with my oldest sister and her family and i had a fun evening with my step father david.  san francisco is a very vibrant and alive town and i enjoyed my time there. i attended a fun event called ''critical ass'' that a friend of the twins organizes which was silly and fun.  people get together and do aerobics in the park to 80's music wearing bright spandex.  it was great!! i also was invited to the symphony which was amazing!!

and then it was time for me to head north on a solo trip to visit friends in the pacific northwest.  i drove from san francisco to seattle and it was really really beautiful!! the california coast especially is amazing! the landscape changes dramatically as one proceeds up the coastline.

it was wonderful to be in my home town olympia.  it is the same as it was 20 years ago when i lived here.  it is beautiful and peaceful and has that small home town feeling. there are many dear friends who are either still here or have moved back which is great because i have many friends to visit and many wonderful memories of this place.  i spent one night under the trees at our old home stead, kindermeadow, which was very lovely and memorable.
